people seem to understand what you mean when you say 'video art,' (generally an abstract, poorly shot thing on a loop) and they also understand what you mean when you say 'short film' (generally a well-produced thing with a soundtrack and credits) but what do i call it if i want to do something in-between?

the animations are made in flash, and the editing is put together on finalcut
