these are three out of a large collection of train, airplane, car and bus drawings. i made these by supporting a pen on paper while letting the bumps, movements and vibrations from the train (in this case) draw the line. i've been making these my whole life, but only recently have i started saving them.

another thing!

this is a sea organ, designed by nikola basic, in Zadar, Croatia! it's a marble stone staircase descending into the ocean with built in organ pipes. the waves and tides push the air through the pipes, creating the most perfect oceanic musical instrument. i really want to visit it.

basically, these are two examples of a type of art i'm interested in lately; making some sort of structure or process and then letting some uncontrollable variable do the rest.

i'd seen his tree drawings before but i didn't know he's done so many other things - i really like the wind walks.
