siren

hi guys.
i've taken a lot of video of my life over the past couple of months but i've been too busy living to go through the hundreds of hours and edit them. one day...

but for now, here's a video of a song from my band's set on saturday at the village voice's (annual free) siren music festival at coney island. the camera is just sitting on top of my amp, so that's why it's bouncing up and down. if you can't watch, that is understandable. but know that sometimes in this 2:41 video, it looks really cool.

it was a beautiful day, a bunch of friends showed up, and it was really cool to play after having watched the show for so many years.
coney island is still the same weird, even though it was sold something like two years ago and there was all sorts of hoopla about it. though there was talk this show wouldn't happen there anymore, it definitely still is happening there... i still don't understand what that was all about-- anyone?

anyway, i hope you're all doing well.
tomorrow (monday), i'm going to see andrei's movie screened at the jane hotel downtown. if any of you are in the city, come join.
also, if anyone wants to see 'in a lonely place', which is one of my favorite movies that wesleyan ever showed me, and which is screening this week only at film forum, please call me.

-hoopla

Ted.

This is fucking sweet. I think it could be turned into a sweet music video for Blood and Treasure very easily, (with the crowd and sky shaking to the music, and the band staying level, meeting the shake every once in a while?) Maybe you've had the same idea.

So good to hear you're still making massive crowds rock. Count me as one of them
