update

Here's some pics of the wall piece at Tractor Gallery I posted about earlier. It came out....okay. Transitional piece, or exploratory, or something.




































































I'm now working on a piece for our July show, where we're programming all of the abandoned lots on Alberta street. I bought a hundred foot roll of mirrored mylar, and I'm cutting a huge slit in the ground and inserting panels into it. I want it to look as though the layer of sod is a thin layer obscuring a blue plane (the sky) that is resisting being closed up. I'll probably insert graphite covered wood pieces into the ground--which I used to great success in my twisted door piece--the reference being something akin to sutures.
